Its that time of year again! Your dog's license needs to be renewed!!

The 2010 dog licenses are here and as per Haines Borough Ordinance 6.08.010; no person shall own, keep, or harbor any dog over six months of age unless such dog is licensed its time to bring your pooch in to get updated! Licensing of your dog ensures that your animal can be returned to you in a timely manner if they stray from home (H.A.R.K. is not the only one that finds lost dogs). Also don't forget to bring in proof that your dog has received its vaccinations as per Haines Borough Ordinance 6.08.010 at the time of application for license, vaccination records or other proof must be provided which shows that the dog has received rabies, parvo and distemper vaccines. If proof is not available at time of licensing owners will be given a 90 day grace period to furnish proof.
FEES:
$10.00 for sterile canines
$20.00 for non-sterile canines

All proceeds from licensing of your animals benefit H.A.R.K. programs and the care of homeless and abandoned animals in the Chilkat Valley.

To get a Dog License:
Just Fill out the attached form and either stop by the office or, new this year...you can mail in the form along with proof of your dogs vaccinations and the appropriate fee and have the license mailed back to you!
