Is your dog licensed?

Hello all you wonderful dog owners out there!!!!! It is now 2009 and all 2008 dog licenses have expired. Now would be a great time to head down to the shelter with a copy of your animals rabies vaccination and get them a new tag!
As per Haines Borough Ordinance 6.08.010; no person shall own, keep, or harbor any dog over six months of age unless such dog is licensed.
The licensing of your animal helps to ensure that they make it back to you in a timely fashion if they ever stray from home. It is for your animal's safety and for your peace of mind!
All fees generated by the licensing of dogs in the Haines Borough will go towards the Haines Animal Rescue Kennel mission of promoting responsible pet ownership, as well as the general welfare of companion animals in the Chilkat Valley.
Hope to see you soon
